Banana sabzi / Paka Kela Nu Shaak recipe is a Gujarati Jain dish that is made from ripe bananas. But this time I added Sweet pepper too with Bananas.
It tastes so so good. The Sweet and Spicy combination that arises from the banana, pepper, and chili makes it a delectable dish to go along with a Roti, Paratha or Bhakhri.
Banana Pepper Sabzi is a deliciously sweet and spicy dish, takes only a few minutes to prepare.
This recipe comes first in my mind when I am running short of time, don’t have vegetables in my freeze and my fruit basket is loaded with ripe bananas.
I often make this recipe on Jain tithi days (Those days when you are not allowed to eat vegetables) without Pepper. This is a kids friendly recipe.
Banana Pepper Sabzi is very easy to cook. Just one thing to note is that always make this fresh.
Cut the banana just before making sabzi otherwise they may turn black. Don’t cook banana too much.
Do give it a try, you will be amazed by the simplicity of this dish.
TRUST me it is really yummy.
