In simple words, it is any soup that helps flush toxins, aids in weight loss, and improves overall health.
Of course, this soup is not a magic pill for weight loss, but including this Detox Vegetable Soup in your diet will definitely affect your health (In a good way of course!). So why not add in some wonderful ingredients that not only taste great but have added benefits!
This Instant Pot soup is packed with nutritious vegetables and fiber that eliminate preservatives, curb cravings, and give your digestive system a well-deserved relief.
This soup has many benefits in addition to weight loss like helping your system rid itself of toxins from overly processed foods, like refined flour and sugar, sweeteners, dairy and meats filled with hormones.
This recipe also aids in digestion by providing fiber that regulates your system.
I usually keep the seasonings in the Detox Vegetable Soup (vegetable clear soup) to a minimum, so that the taste and flavors of the mixed veggies do not get subdued in the recipe. This soup recipe is oil-free and packed with immune-boosting ingredients.

I have used Zucchini, Bell pepper, cauliflower, cabbage, carrots, green onions, spinach, and green beans. Use your choice of vegetables.
Ginger
Fresh ginger is so healing and digestion-friendly. With its natural cold-fighting properties, you can battle off congestion, flu, and nausea while boosting your immunity. I have used Grated ginger, you can use minced or sliced too.
Salt and Pepper
Lemon
Lemon has amazing cleansing properties and provides a burst of Vitamin C while supporting the detoxification process. Adding lemon juice to your soup will help to keep your immune system strong while bringing the amazing refreshing flavor.
How to make Instant Pot Detox Vegetable Soup? Step by Step process:
Add all the vegetables and ginger in the inner pot of an instant pot.
Add water, salt, and pepper powder. Mix well.
Cover the instant pot with its locking lid, set the vent valve on the sealing position.
Press the manual/pressure button and set the timer for 2 minutes under high pressure.
Once cooking time is over, quick-release pressure.
Open the lid, add some lemon juice and mix well.
That’s it! Detox vegetable soup is ready.
Notes and Pro-tips
- You can even add a bit of soy sauce to get an umami flavor in this soup.
- Use your choice of vegetables. You may also add potatoes to thicken the soup.
- If you like little bit spicy soup, add small jalapeno or any green chili.
- You can even add some extra-firm tofu cubes.
- You can add herbs and spices as per your choice.
- Add vegetable stock instead of water to make the soup more flavorful. But be careful while adding salt. Vegetable stock contains salt.

Ingredients

- 1 cup – Zucchini chopped
- 1 cup – Bell pepper chopped
- 1 cup – Cauliflower chopped
- ¾ cup – Cabbage chopped
- ¾ cup – Carrots chopped
- ¼ cup – Green onions chopped
- 1 cup – Spinach chopped
- ½ cup – Green beans chopped
Other Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon – Ginger grated
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon – Black Pepper Powder
- 1 tablespoon – Lemon Juice Or as needed
- 4.5 cups – Water
Instructions
- Add all the vegetables and ginger in the inner pot of an instant pot.
- Add water, salt, and pepper powder. Mix well.
- Cover the instant pot with its locking lid, set the vent valve on the sealing position.
- Press the manual/pressure button and set the time for 2 minutes under high pressure.
- Once cooking time is over, quick-release pressure.
- Open the lid, add some lemon juice and mix well.
- Thats it! Detox vegetable soup is ready.

For stovetop
Take all the ingredients in a big pot and cook them for about 8 to 10 minutes or untill tender(Not mushy) under medium to high pressure.- Make sure to cut the vegetables in equal size.
