Ginger Chili paste

With busy mornings we hardly get time to make breakfast. With this, if we have some ingredient ready then it saves little time.

I prepare my ginger chili paste in bulk and freeze it. It makes life so much easy. It is used in so many recipes. So make sure you keep it ready at all times.

You can store it in the freezer for about 2 months. Later in this recipe, I have shown you how to store your this basic paste. I have added lemon juice in this paste. It works as a preservative.

How to make ginger chili paste?

1. Combine the ginger, green chilies, salt and lemon juice with 3 tablespoon water and blend in a mixer to a fine paste.

2. Place this mixture into an ice tray. Freeze it for 5 hours.

3 Take out all the ginger chili paste cubes from the ice tray and store it in an airtight container or zip lock bags in the freezer for up to 2 months.

Ingredients

  • Ginger peeled and roughly chopped - 1 cup
  • Hot green chilies chopped - ½ cup
  • Salt - 2 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 2 tbsp

Instructions
