With busy mornings we hardly get time to make breakfast. With this, if we have some ingredient ready then it saves little time. I prepare my ginger chili paste in bulk and freeze it. It makes life so much easy. It is used in so many recipes. So make sure you keep it ready at all times. You can store it in freezer for about 2 months. Later in this recipe, i have shown you how to store your ginger chili paste. I have added lemon juice in this paste. It works as a preservative.
Ginger peeled and roughly chopped – 1 cup
Hot green chilies chopped – 1/2 cup
Salt – 2 tsp
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
1. Combine the ginger, green chilies, salt and lemon juice with 3 tbsp water and blend in a mixer to a fine paste.
2. Place this mixture into ice tray. Freeze it for 5 hours.
3 Take out all the ginger chili paste cubes from the ice tray and store it in air tight container or zip lock bags in the freezer for up to 2 months.
