Black Bean Quinoa Burger

Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, this Black Bean Quinoa Burger is an easy and perfect recipe to make for this grilling season.

They are simple to make and can be enjoyed with any of your favorite toppings! It is loaded with smoky flavors from a homemade sauce that you won’t be able to get enough of!

Ingredients

- black beans - quinoa - vegetables - spices - oil - chipotle southwest sauce

Making burger patty mixture

Take the cooked quinoa, beans, corn, onion, spinach, bell pepper, carrots, oats, and spices in a food processor. Pulse a few times until everything comes together.

Take the patty mixture into a big mixing bowl. Now add bread crumbs a little at a time. Mix well. Cover and place in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Using a measuring cup, form 10 equal-sized patties from the mixture. Form a patty according to your desired size.

Shaping the patty

Place a little bit of oil. Pan-fry the patties on medium heat until crispy and cooked on both sides.

On a plate, put the toasted bun, lettuce and patty with melted cheese on top. Apply some chipotle southwest sauce and other add-ons. Cover with the half of the bun.
